Whether you are an infant, adult or child, a temperature of 38.3 is a high temperature?

If you measure your body temperature and it is over 38C,  you should stay home from work or school.

If your body temperature is over 38C or 100.4F then you have a fever.

In children under five, a fever (high temperature) is a temperature over 37.5C (99.5F)
